Local Man Stabbed

A dispute Monday at the Stavemill Apartments ended in 2 arrest and a stabbing. Around 7:30 Monday night Fernado Franco, Eduardo Amaya, and friends were outside drinking tequila. A dispute between the two men broke out and Fernado punched and threatened Eduardo several times. After trying to resolve the matter verbally and then hearing a bystander yell “show him who the king is”  Eduardo pulled out a knife stabbed Mr. Franco in the chest and then fled the scene. Mr. Amaya was located at a residence in the 5 points area taken back to the scene and then arrested for aggravated assault. Fernado Franco was taken to a hospital and later arrested for battery.
